5. #2 and 7, great points. Why buy something you can't afford, remembering you just got out prison about a year. Also, rap is floating like a turd in the flusher, and it has done nothing good for the music business but ruin the great music that blacks use to control and make in the 50's 60's 70's 80's and a little in the 90's. 15. In many, many cases, the assumed wealth that the public sees in the hands of various music stars is imaginary. Record studios regularly lease homes, cars, jewelry, etc. worth millions of dollars and "give" these items to the music stars to parade around the country and appear larger than life. When the dust settles from either a failed record release, a stint in jail, etc., then the companies pull the rug out from under the musician allowing the public to see how penniless they really are.
