Simon's Self-Loathing

Simon Cowell had to go face-to-face with his meanness, courtesy of a biting interview. So you think Morley Safer did the interview? No. Charlie Gibson? Nope. Ellen DeGeneres? Ding, ding, ding!

Simon thinks David will win -- Cook. The show airs today. Check local listings.

5. While he may be a bit caustic at times he is usually right on the money! I applaud Simon for his honesty - even if he's a bit blunt & boarders on mean.

6. Adore Si. Yes, often his comments sting but just as often, he's hilarious!

7. He offers constructive criticism and in a very competitive environment, it's generally helpful. The contestants do put themselves into the position of being torn apart and not to say that a personal attack is ok, but strong feedback, including image and overall talent or lack there-of is appropriate. This is an ego driven business and unless you have the ability to hear what can be improved upon, they may need a bit of reality injected into their beauty contestant brains.

11. I love Simon. He knows a superstar when he sees one!

12. I dig 'im. I hope he doesn't change. Well except his choice in girlfriends. Seymour has the most annoying voice of any woman I've ever heard - plus she's not very good looking.

13. I love Simon. This year he's more mellow.

14. I am extremely upset by the way Simon and Paula are pimping for David Cook. It is not fair. After this years Idol my sister and I are not going to watch the show anymore. Yes, we are David Archuleta fans. It saddens me to think that people will go to a lot of measure just to get what they want, and that is MONEY!!! For the love of Pete, they already have enough of that. Well, I wonder after tomorrow night, how many more people won't be watching Idol next year??? Someone should take a poll.

15. Well Gee, Minnie, considering they were originally pimping the singing monchici (and Randy still tongue bathes the boy), it's nice to see them switch their pimpery around to someone more deserving.
