5. When Fantasia performed on Idol last week... Simon just looked at her and had an expression of "What the F... are you doing". She was just jumping around on stage screaming some words that nobody there could understand. I think this " Baby Mama" is going to end up like Ruben Studdard. No contract and no money.... Screaming isn't singing people.

6. The bottom line is, we all know that she would never have won against any of the talent from this year's idol. Syesha was third place and would have beat Fantasia by a mile!!

Her singing wasn't even that great last week. Heck, my dog could yell better than that.

10. #1- Color has nothing to do with anything. It's about talent-who really has it commercially and who doesn't, who sells records and who doesn't. Not all the white winners have been successful either, they just faded away.
Fantasias 'performance' on Idol the other night was a total mess. I had to mute the sound because her screaming was headache inducing.

12. Maybe somepeople are more consevative with their funds. I think think Fantasia had a hit faster than the Underwood chick. Of course, ask yourself - or think about the number of songs sang on that show that happen to be from Black singers. I think it took Underwood a couple of years to really make an impact.
As a matter of fact, I think the year Carrie competed, Simon could not understand her because he simply could not get the whole country music thing- as is most of nation, since there are no successful country music stations, ANYWHERE outside of Nashville...

14. Perhaps if this is, indeed, a white shiite run show, then it should be boycotted by blacks. It never fails to amaze me that no matter how much success they do have on their own, there are ignorant people in this world that will still see nothing but a white won or a black didn't.
It is the 21st century and it is about time to give it up with the nonsense. But, before you boycott, you must consider what you will next have left to complain about. As far as I know, the entire NAACP has been boycotting the state in which I live for years. I don't know of anyone who has noticed any difference. Except for those who must have something about which to moan and complain all of the time.
