Ummmm, I don't think this is a map of the United States...it looks like it's supposed to be California, so "technically" it wouldn't be the "east Coast" as you say, but rather, more like Mono, California.....north of Riverside. Nice try though. Dumb comments times 2!!!

The tattoo artist should have reversed the imagine. Clearly, the person who wanted to tattoo brought in a picture and they laid it down face first (which is a mirrored imagine). Sucks for this guy...there's always laser surgery to remove it.

Actually, the headline should be, "Why Dumb People Shouldn't Be Inking."

At least if he looks in the mirror it looks correct. Dumb ass!!!

This is hilarious. Not only do we have a guy that can't figure out how a tatt should go on his body, but the person doing the tatt missed it too. This is why they have you take a marker and physically "X" or sign the part of your body they will be doing surgery on, so there are not screw ups like this.

I have a friend that is a teacher in Cali. One of his students, who really liked to fish had a friend of his, in pen ink, tattoo the word "Salmon" on his bicep/shoulder area. However, the friend tatted the word "Samon" on it. When my friend pointed this out to him that he was missing an "L" in the word, they decided to fix it. He now has "Samlon" tatted on his arm forever. Priceless!

i blame the artist before the person. They made a stencil and didn't take into account it prints a mirror image. BUT the artist SHOULD always ask the client if they like the way it looks first. Now, if the client only looked at their arm in a mirror, it would appear right. hahaha DUMMY!!!!! this is as bad as getting a name on you

STACAN - you're an idiot. TMZ was saying "since when did the state of California move to the East Coast?" sarcastically because the state is reversed in the tattoo - it is showing that the coast of California is on the opposite side - meaning if the tattoo was correct, California would be on the East Coast.
So funny when people try to tell TMZ their wrong, but they just make themselves sound stupid. hahahaha
