Christian Bale allegedly assaulted his mom and sister Sunday -- but was still able to go to the UK premiere of "The Dark Knight" last night before getting questioned by Scotland Yard this morning.
It's clear from video of Bale on the red carpet he wasn't in the best mood. Wonder why?

Why is he playing Batman twice, anyway? None of the others did. Bastard. His personality sucks, and the movie is stupid. Too long, and complicated. Peeps are only going to see the dead guy, anyway.

The reason "The Dark Knight' is so popular is becasue Heath Ledger is DEAD and becase his performance is so good.

No doubt the worst Batman movie ever created. The only reason it is popular is because of an actor's death. He was a good actor in this movie but not great. I'm sorry he died just like everyone else but that doesn't make his movie a blockbuster or eligle for an academy award. A very poor excuse for a movie.

Couple of things: The charge is alleged assault, NOT battery. No one got hit or physically assaulted. Responsible reports say Bale's mum and sister tried to get into his hotel room and were denied by management, which led to mum and sis assulting hotel staff -- verbally and with profanity. They waited for Bale to return and when he did, apparently a vocal row ensued. Mum and sis didn't get their way, so they went to the police. Apparently Bale gave as good as he got... Not saying he is an angel, but the rush to judgment here is mind-dizzying, A little factual info always helps.

Couple of things... First, Momma Mia, Michael Keaton also played Bruce Wayne twice in the original Batman serious, so perhaps you should check your facts before mouthing off. Second, it's a bit disrespectful to refer to Heath Ledger as "that dead guy" let's hope that when you are dead and gone people will show you just a little more respect than what you have given others. Third, it was said that the "assault" was possible verbal assault and in the UK that is an actual crime, there are also reports that he brushed past his mother to leave the hotel room and his mother stated it was a push as she was blocking the doorway. Either way we do not know all the details, and IF there was an actual crime don't you think he would have been arrested when it was actually reported... BEFORE the UK premiere, or better yet, wouldn't he have been arrested AT ALL, not released after a few hours of questioning. He was not released on bail, because he was never arrested he was simply released after answering all questions.
