Car Revs Over Al's Daughter

TMZ has learned Rev. Al Sharpton's daughter was rushed to the emergency room earlier this week after she was run over by a car outside her dad's NY office building -- and all on the day before her 22nd birthday!

According to Sharpton's spokesperson Rachel Noerdlinger, Dominique Sharpton was "hit by a car the day before yesterday while outside of National Action Network's headquarters in Harlem while walking with two co-workers. A car pulled into the gas station at full speed and she was pinned to the car. Her father rushed home and she is on crutches with several stitches but she is fine and grateful for the outpouring of support from around the country."

As far as we know, Imus has not been named a suspect ... yet.

7. Wow, I can't believe how old she is. The last time I saw pics of his daughters they were adorable little girls. Time flies. I wish her a speedy recovery from her injuries and those hideous contact lenses.

Sharpton needs to come to my neighborhood so we can beat the **** out of him and make him a martyer. He'd love that.....i say i be a maryter!

14. This was no accident. This was a deliberate act of racism and bigotry! The driver intentionally struck her for no other reason than because she was walking while black. This disgusting display of obvious racism needs to be exposed and action must be taken. The driver should be fired from his job. We need to shed light on the constant systemic racism that still exists today and holds our race down. We need to put an end to racist acts such as these. This bigoted racist's reckless driving hurt one of our strong black sisters. How many more of our brothers and sisters need to be run down before we take action and end these despicable racist acts such as this.
