DMX was arrested by Miami P.D. outside a WalMart in Miami this afternoon -- and we're told it was all over an outstanding warrant he has in Arizona. That warrant stems from a court date he missed earlier this week in AZ, where the rapper was supposed to face a judge over drug charges. His lawyer, Charles Kozelka, tells TMZ he was literally in the process of working out a self-surrender when X was popped.

Hip-Hop police at it's finest. How would they conveniently find him at Wal-Mart? In case you didn't know about Hip-Hop Police it's a whole police unit dedicated to following rappers around. Tax dollars going to good use huh?

This is just another disgusting case of misleading promotions from Walmart. They are snaring respectable rappers into their stores and then calling the âfuzzâ to get them arrested---all the while enjoying the free advertising. DMX, Jam Master Jay and Reverend Run were rap pioneers of Run DMC. They didnât do anything wrong. They just want to rap and shop at Walmart. Give them a chance. Letâs increase the peace.

I pray for the brother and hope that he makes a decision to clean up and get his life back on track. Whatever his issues are I wish him the best and believe that he will be alright. He will make it through these difficult times and one day be able to help other brothers/sisters in similar situations. In these difficult times it's important that black people support and not alienate this man. It's not a situation where he is bringing harm to anyone other than himself, family and immediate friends. In AmeriKKKa there's such a double standard when it comes to black people and how we are judged. Where white people are treated as human beings (Robert Downey Jr. and Britney Spears) who make human mistakes and are able to move on with their lives and careers; more often than not Blacks are dehumanized and treated as criminals who should be locked in a cage. Unlike many other blacks I won't give up on our misguided, fallen and lost soldiers instead I will continue to pray for them. Keep your head up DMX.
