Venus Williams -- I'm No Dribbler

Venus Williams made one thing clear yesterday -- she only likes her balls green and fuzzy.

Even though she's a 6'1" athletic superstar, Venus claims she's never tried to dunk a basketball because "It's not her sport."

Like Tiger, Venus was a child prodigy. When would she have had time to pursue basketball? She's been in the news for playing tennis since she was a small child. If she had chosen to play the far less lucrative sport I'm sure she would have been excellent at that as well.

Why is asking her if she plays basketball racist? They ask because she is unusually TALL, not unusually black.

They asked her about basketball because she is unusually TALL. If you automatically assume it was because of race then perhaps YOU have issues with race.
