Mackenzie Phillips Busted

Mackenzie Phillips has been busted at LAX for allegedly possessing heroin and cocaine. She's in custody right now.

At 10:00 AM, officers responded to Terminal 4, where 48-year-old Phillips was being screened by TSA. During the screening process, some baggies and balloons believed to contain heroin and cocaine were recovered.

The former "One Day at a Time" star has had a long history of drug abuse.

5. How sad....I was just watching her on the BIO channel in an interview she did awhile back and she was talking about how she had been clean some 6 plus years. I hope she bounces back from this set back.

She still can't get rid of the monster on her back. She started young, like many do now in Hollyweird. Lesson learned? Nope. They are still doing it.

11. Oh my gosh...this is so sad. I almost can't believe this. She was doing incredibly well. What I want to know is what was going on in her life that made her go back to drugs after years and years of sobriety?

13. That's unfortunate. She had a good chunk of sobriety going on. Regardless, addiction is a disease and a relapse can happen after one month, or ten years. I hope she's able to find her way again.

15. Oh yea--she's been about as clean as my barefeet after I have been working in the garden beds all day.
She says she's clean, but those eyes have always look fried to me. Some people just never change.
I thought she had a son? how old is he? Who will be responsible for him in IF and when she goes to the pokey?
Valerie did the weight loss ads...Is there a drug use cessation program Mac can do an ad for and not fall off the wagon???
