Kanye Attack Caught on Tape

We just got the video of Kanye West grabbing a still photog's camera at LAX this morning.

You see Kanye (in a gray hooded sweatshirt) and his bodyguard/road manager (in the red) grabbing the camera away from the photog. It appears the bodyguard, Don Crowley, gets the camera and Kanye gets the lighting component. Crowley smashes the camera to the ground and Kanye does the same with the light.

Erik, our camera guy, then comes closer and the bodyguard then comes up and wrestles his camera away, ultimately breaking it.

As we first reported, both Kanye and his bodyguard were arrested for vandalism. They're both being held on $20,000 bail.

5. Wow, I realize that it must get annoying to be photographed every day, but you would think someone would know you can't grab a person's camera and throw it down and break it -- in front of 50 people much less. Have fun in jail!

12. I know I wouldn't like having cameras in my face all the time, but Kanye's reaction was way out of line. Typical for him though. He seems to have a lot of growing up to do.

14. What a piece of sh*t Kanye is. I applauded him and thought he was a good dude after his comments about Bush, but I guess his 'good guy' thing ends when someone takes his picture. To destroy someone's camrea - and then attempt to destroy ANOTHER camera - its really disgusting. These arrogant bastards figure they can replace the camera if they get sued, and that's that. I hope they make an example of Kanye and give him real time to serve.
