We've learned the L.A. County D.A. has decided not to file felony charges against Kanye West and his bodyguard for the attack at LAX earlier this month.
Yet another example of what a celebrity should do when they get into trouble -- hire attorney Blair Berk. And it doesn't hurt that TMZ declined to prosecute the matter.
The case has been sent to the L.A. City Attorney for possible misdemeanor prosecution. No decision yet.

I dont think this is a case of celebrities getting away with things - celebrity or not, the paps get right in their face and are trying to get a bad reaction out of them - look at all the attention this has gotten - im sure tmz is pleased - its money in their pocket not to mention it was on all major news channels - it would have been inappropriate for kanye (and i dont even like him) to be charged - leave the guy alone in certain areas - just like any other celebrity - its getting out of control - i think certain locations or people (like starts children) should be off limits!!

21. Kanye potentially dodged a bullet in terms of legal fees and drama, although, I'm doubtful he would have actually gotten time behind the incident.
Even so, Kanye is potentially one of the most talented, innovative and creative artists the world of entertainment has seen in the last 5 years or so.
There sure are a lot of tone-deaf, uncreative people in here to not at the very least see that much.

I'm sure that the pap was just snapping pictures doing his job. I'm sure he didn't provoke Kanye in anyway...come on folks we've all heard clips of paps taunting celebs, I wouldn't doubt if the photog said something offensive or just insulting. 26. 357--- I doubt very seriously that you are a black man and if you are you do not like yourself. There are so many wonderful black men famous or not who wouldn't know the first thing about being a criminal or being in trouble. You don't know what he was going through that day and then to have a camera stuck in your face when maybe you just need some down time and/or privacy. And just because the majority is saying negative things doesn't make it right. Whenever there is a story about a black man or woman there are plenty of negative comments.
