31. Sounds like a good move. Her career is taking off again and she has only been beginning to show the signs of the "old Britney" that we ALL loved. It also sounds like she can regain actual custody of the kids (if the tmz posting is correct). Kudos to Britney and her family. Amy Winehouse should be so lucky.

32. is someone watching the conservator and the money? he is living very nicely, as is K-Fed, and her mom, so let's hope britt is well enough to earn the dollars 'cause it looks like she will supporting all for a very long time. without her how well off are or were they? had anyone heard of K-Fed before Britt? and these are the same parents who raised she and Jamie Lynn. 33. 8. Before some babies come on here crying unfair, you have to remember just 7 or so months ago, this girl was out of control. Mentally, she is NOT completely healed. That is a lengthy process that takes time.

She is doing a lot better, but it's too soon to just let her go out there alone. She has a mental illness and she has already proved she is not capable of properly taking care of herself BEFORE the conservatorship (Sam Lufti, ADNAN!!). Think people.

Agreed. And Britney was out of control long before she ever heard of Lutfi and Adnan. For a number of years, she was blowing hundreds of thousands of dollars a month, and he estate has been shrinking for at least a couple years. I think that Britney always has had problems living in the real world. It's just that for a while, she was pulling in so much money that it didn't matter.

But just like the U.S. economy, a pyramid scheme can only be maintained for a finite amount of time before the whole edifice comes crashing down. This is where Brit and the U.S. are at today.

You're full of it. No one needs to be able to balance a checkbook or wipe their own ass in order to be a popular performer. When we go to concerts and buy CD's, we don't demand that the performers display their fiscal organizational skills or show us that they know how to properly use toilet paper.

All that a performer needs to do in order to be successful is to perform well enough to please lots of people. And Britney is apparently still able to do that, irrespective of her driving abilities, mental state, parenting skills, and sexual proclivities.

And let's face it, Britney is even able to please you, because you apparently derive a lot of satisfaction out of coming here and waxing eloquent about about how much you hate "SLUTney".

It doesn't matter if Britney is stupid. It doesn't matter if she's mentally incompetent. It doesn't matter if she's a slut. Millions of people still like her and still buy her CD's.

37. So let's see what this means. She is not fit to raise her kids (court decision). She is not fit to run any important aspect of her career or her life (court decision). The only way she can make and album is if someone else writes the songs, someone else plays the instruments, someone else runs her voice through a perfect pitch program and someone else mixes and arranges the final product. The court is watching the conservators and the money. They have to repeatedly report to the court, and all of their papers, expenses, etc. are reviewed.

Also, the court is requiring Britney to be checked regularly by mental health professionals.

45. Even though she is a grown woman and although her breakdown appears to be over, her dad seems like he's a permanent meddler, so why not make his meddling legally permanent? That she would agree to this tells me she is still mentally ill. Grown women with brains working do not give their fathers control over their empire. If she's sane enough to make a record (ah, Womanizer? OK, whatever, she is still working), she's sane enough to write checks and seek additional custody of her kids on her own power without Daddy and without Lynn. Cuz you know she's in there too.
