John and Jen met up for a not-so-secret rendezvous in NYC last night -- and the Brit hit the fan when one of her bodyguards started smacking paps with an umbrella outside La Esquina.
Police were called to the scene to help regulate Jen's exit, where she actually spoke to TMZ -- saying she doesn't agree with 66% of our voters who won't watch Mayer's new CBS variety show.

19. TMZ catches Jennifer going into a restaurant to eat. There's a brouhah between paps waiting outside involving an umbrella. They catch her coming out and getting in her car. And the first comment on this story is how Jenn needs to move on and get over Brad-what in the hell are you posters talking about???? Does going out to eat somehow indicate that she hasn't moved on? Who exactly is it that can't get over this threesome-it's the media and YOU! Your obsessiveness on this subject is annoying as hell-move on to a new subject (target).

Even though I thinks its wrong to cheat when you are married, something seems so right with Brad and Angie. Jen alwsy seemed like a cold fish to me.

I think it's a good comic setup, to have Jennifer walking around listening to a cell phone while snacking on really big crackers, while a cook, a thief, her husband and her would be mugger get in a violent umbrella fight and she's totally oblivious to it, walking right through them like they were just kids or something and they all get carried away by a paddy wagon, with those old style bobbies with sticks and tall black cop hats they have in Britain, John Cleese style.
That's what Jennifer's movie career needs, more good slapstick violence! Where's all the Warner Brothers stuff these days, all we get is Disneyland politically correct politeness for the zero-level-endorphin suburbanites. Screw em, and bring on Yosemite Sam and Jennifer Aniston half naked in a rage, taking over a town. Something interesting!

28. Jen and John are awesome! SO many people who comment here give John Mayer a hard time, but how many of you have actually watched the clips of him on TMZ? He is young, bright, witty, cynical, HILARIOUS, and a breath of fresh air for Jen! They're great together!
Jen is SO over Brad and Ang! She had every right to say it was "uncool" of Ang to tell everyone about how her relationship started, and "uncool" was a huge understatement!
But it really was "a hundred years ago" and both Jen and Brad are happy with their new loves, so why can't everyone just stop bickering?
