2. She was born in the UK, lived there til she was about 14 if i remember rightly. She's always had a somewhat trans-atlantic accent. So, no she's not channeling Madonna, just reverting to an accent that she originally had and is surrounded by.

I have friends who lived in Chicago for 20 years. They lived offa Diversey avenue in a basement apt. Back then
Jillian went to Chicago Art Institute, known mostly for the partying and fornicating ways of the student body. I don't care if Jillian bathed in QE2's urine daily, she DIDN'T have an English accent.

Well, CORRECTION! She had a FAKE British accent. Back then she would come over to their apartment, hair dyed black,
go into their back room, sit in a chair in the dark, and smoke clove cigarettes all day. Very gothic of her. And, she spoke in a fake English accent, and it was fake because 70% of the time she'd speak Amurrrcan. It's all a put-on. Stay in England for all I care baby. If ya ain't been to Ol' Blighty lately, the population centers are basically a socio-Islamic third world countries. Nice.

She probably misses Red Ken and all his scumbag socialist self-loathing cronies. Typical Hollywood limousine liberal. Still, I love the X-Files.
It just shows you can be a fair - to - midlands actress AND be politically purely wrong in all ways, shapes, and forms.

It's VERY WELL possible to adopt ANY type of accent if you are there long enough! it's not about being fake. (eyes rolling)
