You Do NOT have to be married to have a baby. I am not married and I have a house and two children with my partner of nearly 10 years. I think it is mainly a religious reason; however, if you read the bible it says that if you sleep with someone then you are more connected than if you are wed. So many supposed Christian people like to pick and choose without actually reading the bible. It takes real commitment to be with the same person without being legally bound. Marriage has also been a means of oppressing women throughout history.

I originally did not like what she stood for, but I do now because I have many similarities to her. I am the same height and weight as well and I eat the recommended 2000- 2500 calories a day. I am a stay at home mom.. mainly I am short and love people who are my height :) just my 2 cents
