For Britney and her Southern fried fam, the most exciting part of FAO Schwarz in NYC wasn't the kick ass Muppet Whatnot Workshop or the dudes dressed as toy soliders -- it was the down escalator.

5. 1. The escalator that normally goes in a downward direction is turned off.
2. Brit and crew are directed to walk up that escalator by F.A.O. Schwarz security.
3. Someone accidentally turns the escalator on, and it starts moving downward again.
4. The escalator is turned off again.
5. The Brit entourage talk to F.A.O. Schwarz security to make sure it won't be turned on again.
6. They are convinced that this won't happen, and they then walk up the escalator.
The only person who was stupid in this case was the idiot who turned the escalator on.
... well, the other people who are stupid are those who think that this story has anything to do with Britney's intelligence.

9. I'm sure she called the paps ahead of time to get photos of her with the kids. Just a publicity stunt, and she will use those kids to sell her music. She looked happier the other night by herself. And what's with the sunglasses indoors? Does she have a hangover or what? No wonder SHE's not carrying those poor children. She looks dazed and the kids look like they don't even know who she is.

Thank you for your intelligence. That is something that is so often missing on this site. Jealousy though--it runs rampant.
TMZ, can you please stop twisting your boring video and pictures to look interesting when they are really useless and uneventful? I realize that you lie and give misinformation because you believe it generates more viewers to the site and and therefore makes your ads more valuable, not to mention the traffic it brings to your show, but some people, like me, are turned off by it. I would much rather read an interview with Britney in a credible magazine than watch her ride on an escalator. Do you have anything good and credible to show us or am I wasting my time on your site?

15. Some of you really do not have any common sense at all. Britney must not be to much of an idiot to be as rich and famous as she is. Yes she has had some problems in the past, however we all do. Atleast she had the strength to correct her problems and move on. For the comment about her using her kids to sell records, I think that is one of the most stupid comments that I have read on here. If she did not love and want to be with her kids, I don't think she would have wasted all of her time going back and fourth to court for them more times than we can count. Some of you really need to stop being so negative and be happy for her. I would really hate to see how some of you make it in life, Britney appeared to have a mental breakdown most likely from all of the stress she was going through, and you people make fun of that... you think it is funny that a person has a mental illness???? I am a CIT officer (crisis intervention team), police officers that properly treat and handle people with mental illnesses. Mental illness should be treated just as any other kind of sickness such as heart diseas, high blook pressure etc. Britney is a very strong, pretty, talanted woman, and she is role model for many people out there. Great job Britney, we love you!!!!
