Jason Alexander -- the dude who married Britney for 55 hours back in 2004 -- is currently sitting in a Van Nuys jail cell.
According to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department, 27-year-old Alexander is set to be released on December 9.
Here are some fun facts courtesy of the cops: Alexander is 6'0", 225 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

5. It looks like the third-grade summer-project level journalism team at TMZ is having trouble following its own "breaking" story. No surprise here at their rank incompetence. A Google search that took 30 seconds shows that he's in jail for having twice refused to go to the City Morgue as part of his alcohol education program after his 2006 DUI. The judge will keep him locked up until December 9 as his punishment for failing to fulfill the terms of his sentence.
Helpful hint to the pathetic losers who work at TMZ: there's a place called "Google" on the internet which allows people to search for information. Just go to the google-dot-com web site and type this into the search field:
