Come on people. Kathy is funny. Anderson is a big boy and can turn down the hosting job with Kathy if it is sooo bad. Remember, they hosted NYE last year too. Anderson is a perfect straight man to Kathy's craziness. Get over it an move on. ps Kathy and Anderson are both loaded, so neither had to take this stupid NYE hosting gig.

Kathy outed Anderson in that broadcast. Just after midnight, when they went live after commercial and they were dancing, Kathy asked :"Is he yours? Are you seeing someone?" Anderson laughs and says "I'm not." Kathy says: "Oh, come on. Sorry. Hi,everybody."

Maybe someone TiVo'd the original broadcast, rather than the later rebroadcast which was censored, then you can see what I'm talking about.

Was Kathy drunk or stoned? She had sooo many hot mic problems. She has amazingly out of control NY Eve. At one point AC had to say "Focus!"

omfg - that is one of the BEST put downs I have EVER heard. Freaking hilarious!!!! Mu husband and I love you Kathy - one reason among many is your support of the troops (see, you can support the troops without supporting the war). Um, Anderson Cooper did not look uncomfortable - he was laughing the entire time. It was an entertainment special on CNN. If news networks (if you can call CNN that) are going to do those types of specials, better to have an entertainer that does not pretend to be an influence on politics and instead entertains, than an unfunny, intolerant hypocrite like Rosie Odonnell or someone.

The only night of the year my seven year old can stay up until midnight to watch the ball drop and Kathy Griffin is yelling obsenities to Anderson and all the CNN camera crew....Class Act. Your coverage of the election now that was classy. But Anderson he really deserves better. Let Kathy go back where she belongs. Wherever that is.

Thank God Kathy Griffin was on CNN to make the show ...interesting. For those of you bitching...that makes it even more funny. If you dind't have a bunch of loser lameasses bitching about Kathy Griffin, she wouldn't have a job. I have it on DVR and laugh everytime I see that spot.

Kathy Griffin annoys the hell out of me. But THAT was hilarious.

Kathy rocks, her sense of humor is great but i don't think this is her in her true form, she is raunchy and risque and she'll say it herself but cnn is wayyyy too censored a network to have her on. personally i've seen her standup routine in person and she is VERY funny but def way too out there for the conservative douchebags that overun this thread.
