Miley Digs Herself a Hole All the Way to China

Hanoi Montana doesn't seem to get why people think she's mocking Asians in this picture.

During a half-ass non-apology she just posted on her website, Miley claims she was simply making "goofy faces" with her friends and "In NO way was I making fun of any ethnicity." Ok, it's a plausible explanation ... BUT WHY ISN'T THE ASIAN DUDE MAKING THE FUNNY FACE?

Launch PhotosHanoi then deflects responsibility even more by joking that the only reason people are mad is because "... now that Britney is back on top of her game again, they need someone to pick on!"

Her full statement can be read after the jump.

"Ive also been told there are some people upset about some pictures taken of me with friends making goofy faces! Well, Im sorry if those people looked at those pics and took them wrong and out of context!

In NO way was I making fun of any ethnicity! I was simply making a goofy face. When did that become newsworthy? It seems someone is trying to make something out of nothing to me. If that would of been anyone else, it would of been overlooked! I definitely feel like the press is trying to make me out as the new 'BAD GIRL'!"

I feel like now that Britney is back on top of her game again, they need someone to pick on! Lucky me! haha Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know what is on my heart. You guys know me and have been by my side every step of the way!

You guys know my heart and know the most important things to me are my friends, family, fans, and GOD! In NO WAY do I want to disappoint any of you! But, when I have made mistakes in the past, I feel like Ive owned up to them and apologized.

Anyway, I really wish everyone would stop focusing on my personal life and get back to focusing on what I love! Music and Acting! Hopefully, I will be touring again this fall! Yayy! =] It will be a nice change to be back out on the road again!"

2. She sounds like a spoiled little brat. Her parents should warn her once you become a public figure watch your step! She does not seem to be all that mature at this point in her life. Give her a few years and I am sure she will overcome the obvious obstacles that come with being famous.

4. My Lord ppl grow up!!! She is a kid, who as kids didn't slant their eyes at some point in time? Ppl these days are to ready to jump straight to racism on everything. Times have changed so much it's sick. Why not say ppl who get a spray tan are making fun of ppl who are a darker color? I think ppl should go back to judging ppl on the type of person they are, not the color of their skin, where they came from, etc.

6. Oh get over it. She's a KID having a little fun. She's done some really stupid things but this is not one of them. I think people need to get a little thicker skin and not take things so seriously. It's amazing how we have regressed as a society. They used to call All in the Family ground breaking in the 70's. You know what they would call it now CENSORED!!!!!!

7. I am not surprise that she is doing something so ignorant. Look at what her father allowed her to do, go out with an adult as a teenager. It is not uncommon from where she come from. I bet the confederate flags still flies there.

8. #4 - I totally agree. People need to understand that she is a 16 year old girl. Just because she is famous doesn't mean she isn't going to make mistake. This picture just looks like they're having fun. There is even an Asian guy in the photo! I'm sure they were just kidding around. People blow things way out of proportion! Its like walking on egg shells - you do one thing and you're labeled a racist.

9. Whether she's a star or not, or talented or not, is neither here nor there. She's a kid. Plain and simple. I don't think anyone should be getting too offended, because she's just a little girl. She obviously has a lot of growing up to do, so things like this are to be expected.

12. Bitch needs to shut her trap! Any musician knows Asia is hot for world tour stops and brings in tons of $$$ for artists. She just blocked out over half her global income (not that she had any intl. fans to begin with). Put the nail to the coffin. This spoiled brat is over and done with. BYEEEE!!!
