i live close to those fires the devistation is horrid to much death and destruction as for our animals there is still so many who cannot and did not get saved god bless all the fire fighters and all helping in these terrible times and as for people saying it fake i hope u never have to go through what victoria is going through . kim

What kind of idiots are you people?? This is disgraceful! Wonder how you'd feel if you where a victim of these fires and someone decided to make a joke at your expense. This poor Koala will be in pain for months due to burns, She is one of the lucky ones in this situation and you think it's okay to make jokes about it. You've not only crossed the line but have completely stomped on it. I think it's time you all grew up and got a real job. Next time think about the devastation and heartache of a situation before you want to go around poking fun at something.

In addition to what I had said last week, I just heard that the photo has resulted in Victoria's CFA receiving over $AU300,000 in donations. Now the only reason I come back to this vile site is to see if there are still people as infuriated as I am. I can't speak for all American wankers, but I'm still very angry over TMZ's disgraceful lowbrow conduct. One person told me that maybe people were so worried about money that they felt they couldn't give. My response was to question whether those same people were so worried about money that when the plate came around at church they felt they couldn't give. I've been personally emailing photos, videos and links for making online donations but it's very frustrating to be so hampered and freakin ineffective as I try to work my way thru the bureaucratic crap and chains of command. I can't even identify who is authorized to authorize me to tear it up and start bringing in major dollars for aid. Today, whenever I could slow someone down long enough, I violated my ethics policy and played a YouTube video for them. The donation jar in my office labeled Victorian Bushfires 2009 is still empty. It really blows to be trying so hard to help and still my butt ends up lumped in with self-centered fat ass American wankers. I don't actually know what a wanker is but I do know that I don't want to be one. That's it. This went on way too long. Please know that your tragedy is being felt by some of us in a way very reminiscent of Sept. 11.

How insensitive is this comment. I mean seriously, this is a fire that has killed hundreds of people, burned down thousands of houses, killed over one million animals and the caption says pampered. Disgusting...

Funny thing is TMZ these "critters" have sharp claws and are actually wild animals, "Sam"would normally scratch you to pieces if you went near him. He actually drank three (3) bottles of water one after another. Over 200 people lost their lives approx 7000 are homeless and tens of thousands of wildlife animals are dead. As Australians our hearts go out to Americans when something tragic happens to them. But from one aussie to some dim wit yuppie yankie, get a life!

To TMZ, you guys are JERKS, when 9/11, or fires in CA, or Katrina happened here in the US, all you heard from the fellow Australians were warm thoughts, prayers and offers to help.
