Quincy Jones Gets Noise Complaint

It's the unkindest cut of all. A man as big as Quincy Jones getting hauled into small claims court.

An audio production dude claims he did $3,100 worth of work for Q over a two week period last summer and got nada.

To put this in its proper context, Q has reportedly pulled in $220,000,000. Is this further evidence of a deep recession or just another bogus suit against a rich celeb?

For the record, we believe Quincy spends more than $3,100 on the person who lights his cigars.

1. Regardless how much money Quincy makes, if the guy did the work and the claim is valid, he should be paid. Period.

5. i never understand these megarich hollywood types who don't pay their bills.
most of the time the amount of money they owe something they would flush down the toilet on a whim
i mean what gets into your psyche that turns off your sense of right and wrong when you get rich?
if thats what havin big money is all about, i don't need it , i want to be able to live with myself at the end of the day
i read somewhere a while back about some big star who wouldn't pay his mexican landscaper because he didn't think the grass got green enough, and his flowers weren't big enough. the poor guy, was living from paycheck to paycheck and couldn't afford legal help, till a lawyer got involved for free (with his own "agenda" i might add). It turns out the yard had some type of contamination and it was only thru the talents of the gardener that it was even able to grow anything at all. so after years of legal wrangling and much stress and misery, the gardener gets paid. The "Star" made it as hard as he could for the little guy to get paid for something he was owed, and then didn't even apologize when it was determined that the gardener was right.
In the end, the star sued the previous homeowner for non-disclosure, and won a lawsuit for a lot more than he'll ever have to spend on his cheap landscaping labor.
There are hundreds of cases like that, where these "privileged few" make their own rules. No matter who they step on. Except their "Peers" of course.

8. he is a tool, im close to someone who had claims to a star that was signed under Q, but he lost only because he couldnt afford to duke it out with Q in court
