Adam Pascal -- "Roger" from the original cast of "RENT," now at the Pantages in L.A. -- put Jeremy Piven on blast last night for using sushi to bail on his Broadway play, calling Piv's excuse "crap" and total bull.

7. Is this Adam fellow an MD? I don't know if Piven's condition is the truth, but it seems if he wanted to lie, he could have come up with better condition/sickness than that.

8. What people forget it was not just the sushi but the fact that Jeremy used Chinese herbs. He also almost had a heart attack because of the poisoning. He was working when he was diagnosed but was told to stop when he started having heart trouble. Has TMZ caught Jeremy at any Nobu or eating seafood for that matter since this story broke? Truly isn't it a stupid lie for Jeremy who is a known seafood eater to make if he is lying. He can't be spotted at any seafood restaurant for a long time. Did TMZ or any photographer caught him at any clubs partying while he was in NY? Prove that story. You don't you just make Jeremy out the fool all the time without posting photos.

12. How could anyone ever want Jeremy Piven to be in a RENT-level production? Shouldn't he have to be an actor to do this sort of thing? Such a little lying prick.... Assholes make everyone in a show miserable.

We may never know the "truth", but I seriously doubt that someone with Piven's income is eating in sushi bars sketchy enough to serve fish of questionable quality.
