D.A. Gets Rihanna Case

Chris BrownTMZ has learned the L.A. County District Attorney has received the Chris Brown case from the LAPD.

No decision will be made today. It is under review.

Brown was arrested for allegedly making criminal threats. Sources say the D.A. will review that allegation as well as felony domestic battery.

Brown is scheduled to make an appearance in court tomorrow. It will be interesting to see if the D.A. files charges tomorrow and if Brown is arraigned. If that happens, it will be especially interesting if Rihanna shows up with him.

Of course, we will be all over it.

Because they don't trust the public, the DA has a habit of not going to trial unless they have everything. In other words, they depend on victims to make their case. Then there's the little matter of LA PD going after personnel consultants who leak information to the media about the DA *not* prosecuting LA PD officers who beat up their wives and girlfriends. So this should be interesting.

5. No one knows what really happened in that car except for those Rihanna and Chris. Therefore nobody can judge them. The public needs to stay out of their personal life. This stuff happens everyday to ordinary people. People can get help and people can change!

6. I will bet $1,000 there are no charges. The DA cannot win this case with the evidence they have and they will not try a case they cannot win. Chris will walk on this one.

8. I SERIOUSLY hope he gets in big trouble for this. It's so sad she went back to him, but that is what happens in abusive relationships. it doesn't mean she is asking for it, or she's stupid, or that he DIDN'T hurt her as bad as he did.
He hasn't gotten ANY professional help though, and unfortunately this is just going to happen again =(

either way, I still hope he gets put in jail and somebody can help Rihanna see the reality, here.

10. Nobody really knows whether they're back together. Stop feeding into the rumors. Chris needs to be locked up for his actions. I dont care if hes this big star. You cant fix this 'mistake'.
