Don Cornelius just pled no contest to one count "corporal injury resulting in traumatic condition of a spouse" for the beatdown of his estranged wife Victoria back in October.
The 72-year-old former "Soul Train" host was not present yesterday in L.A. County Superior Court in Van Nuys, where a judge put Don on 36 months probation and ordered him to pay over $1,000 in fines.
Also required:
-- 300 hours of community service
-- He cannot own, use or possess any deadly weapons
-- He cannot use or threaten violence to any person, especially Victoria
-- He must complete a 52 week domestic violence treatment program
-- He must stay 100 yards from the Mulholland estate where the attack took place
A protective order is also in place -- and the four other misdemeanors he was originally charged with were dropped due to the plea agreement.

Another African-American role model . . . . . when will someone in that community take a stand on domestic violence.
#17, you're actually the first person to ever communicate with this knob. Your comment, therefore, is kinda like Clinton imploring all of us, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman...".
Yah... I think it's time you hit the pavement and started lookin too.
My Gawd... I need a drink... Lindsay! Come in here and breathe on me will ya!
