#16 Your comment towards Cynthia's statement was very immature and ignorant. Guess you would feel differently if someone made a racist remark about you or someone you cared about. But it's the same old concept-this doesn't matter because it doesn't deal with you personally so why care and/or get involved, right?? If more people would take a stand against the injustice in this world, it would be a much better place.
Cynthia, you are to be admired for your comments. It's people like Fernando Valenzuela that help create the biased, misinformed and ignorant attitudes in this world. His comments show his mentality which doesn't even register on the preschool level. Sounds like he and Blagojevich could be partners and best friends. Both are sorry excuses for our brotherhood.

Totally agree with you Jeremy about Fernando's lame comments against someone standing up against racist comments!!!! His mentality doesn't seem to be registering at all-light's out in his upper neighborhood! IF there is no absolute valid reason to bring race into something, then don't play it man-no excuses. It's just plain wrong. Yet people fail to admit/stand up unless it's aimed at them or someone they genuinely care about. Very sad, ignorant and immature.

MAYBE the guy was just being sarcastic, but I still admire Cynthia's response and the guys who stood up for her. There really isn't any reason to bring race into anything unless it's legitimate. By bringing race into something that wasn't there to begin with, only brings unnecessary baggage into the mix and causes unintentional hurt and anger to others.
Nothing wrong with a joke and/or sarcasm at times, but doesn't seem very appropriate in this case when it's such a serious and sensitive issue.
