3. he is a great singer but should not have shaved off his beard.

4. TMZ, stop picking on blind people. Mr. Bocelli has more talent in his little finger than all of your writing staff combined. Picking on people with disabilities is so last century.

5. Wrong to poke fun at people with a disability? Yes, always, but this guy has capitalized off of being a blind "singer". The only reason why anyone has heard of him is because he's blind & people marvel at him. His voice is mediocre at best...and being blind, he should have better hearing & fix his horrible, flat tone & goat bleeting vibrato. There's a blind student in my studio that would knock his doors off any day with his even tone, clean spin on the vibrato, clear resonance, & beautiful artistry.

6. MetOperaSinger, I would never pay to see a show from such a conceited pig as you. He is not flat but right on. You are probably not an opera singer at all. You sound more like a teenage punk who is trying to sound important. I listened to his music for years, and I had no clue that he was blind until I did a google search on him. I saw old interview transcripts where it was the reporters talking about his being blind, not Andrea. Get your facts straight because you are the one sounding as ignorant as the TMZ staff.

7. oooh Andrea on a horse. Not really a surprise since he likes to ride male horse off the stage anyway. Guess you don't need to see it to get into it!! LOL :)

9. I'll take the Friesian, thank ya!

10. He has never sung at the Met. Real opera singers don't need microphones to be heard in a theater.

11. crys - fabulous that you've been listening to him for years, but you are probably tone deaf & couldn't tell sharp from flat on any given day. I'm a lyric coloratura soprano (not that you even know what that is) and have perfect pitch (which you probably have no idea what that is either). Furthermore, your ignorance on the matter truly shows in your opening address to me. Opera singers don't do "shows", we sing in "operas", concerts, or oratorios...say that slowly with me...O-raaaa-tooo-riiiii-ooooos. My facts are straight & as someone in the music industry, much like that child was a flash in the pan for being at 13 year old with a 40 year old's voice for 2 years, he had something to set him apart & it sure wasn't ability. You want to hear some real talent, try listening to Beverly Sills, Joan Sutherland, Lucia Popp, Barbara Bonney, Ruth Ann Swenson, Kathleen Battle, Renee Fleming, Cecelia Bartoli, Barbara Dever, Stephanie Blythe, Pavoratti, Domingo, Thomas Hampson, Sam Ramey, Kurt Moll. There's almost 1 of every voice part there. Pick a few & get educated before you go criticizing someone who's there, doing it, living it & could shatter your eardrums with "Der Holle Rache"'s high f or Vorrei Spiegarvi, O Dio's high e!

12. Andrea does NOT need a microphone to sing in a theatre, nor is he flat, as any conductor will tell you.
For the stadium concerts, yes, of course he uses a microphone, so did Pavarotti and anybody you'd care to name.

13. Ellie? "good family man?" He is still married to his wife and living with a girl less than half his age, who has fired his closest staff. Is that really the lifestyle of a family man?

14. MetOperaSinger you're so vain, totally a sign of frustration and envy. I imagine you criticize Andrea Bocelli, a worldwide renowned artist, because you desier his well-gained fame. So we don't know your fancy words or are in the business, as you claim you are (CLAIM as I you have not told your real name), but Andrea has a great voice that reaches people from most parts of the whole world, not only to opera singers, students, or wannabes. He has a carreer and not only for being blind. I was one of the many who ignored that he was blind for a long time, since I do not evaluate the lives of every singer that I happen to like at any time. So, some of us are ignorants, but you are bitter, cocky, and I assume very much alone in your self-centered life.
Yur shameless self promotion with your "MetOperaSinger" and name-dropping is obnoxious, and even if you were right, no one would want to agree with you, IMHO.
Get a life.

15. TMZ's jokes are so corny. The crew is not even funny and laugh at the stupidest things. So who cares if the great Andrea Bocelli rides a horse. Jeez, get a life!
