After his devastating second round knockout loss to Pacquaio, Hatton nursed his injuries at Wet Republic -- with as much beer as he could possibly get his hands on. Brilliant!

6. What a coup for TMZ to get this video of a guy drinking beer by a pool. This will go down in history as more important and newsworthy than the Zapruder film of JFK getting shot!

13. How did he sit there with all that awful music playin

14. To "sha" - I've been to that pool (it's at Treasure Island) and it is crazy how LOUD they play the music. I'm not even a grumpy old codger, but the music is rdiculous! You can barely hear your friends when they're trying to talk, and the cocktail waitress can barely hear you when you order something. I'm going to try the Mirage pool in a few weeks to see if that one's better!

15. And here is the "real" story according to RadarOnline. You be the judge of which version is 'true": Some people can’t handle the truth.

It appears that David Hasselhoff, his spin team of enablers, and at least one gullible media outlet fall into that category.

RadarOnline.com broke the world exclusive news that the Hoff was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Saturday after his 16-year-old daughter Hayley found him drunk and unconscious in his Encino home. Hayley called her mother, who drove him to Cedars, which is where he has been treated many times before.

Pathetically, Hoff’s alcohol level was more than FOUR times the legal limit, which is .08. He suffered from alcohol poisoning.

Perhaps even sadder is that his spin team jumped into action and tried to downplay the seriousness of his chronic alcohol problem. On Sunday they released a statement saying that David is fine and well and happy and is celebrating his father, Joe Hasselhoff's 80th birthday tonight at dinner... along with his girlfriend, Kimberly."

Then, after RadarOnline.com reported that the Hoff has been treated at a hospital for alcohol poisoning more than FIVE TIMES, sources close to Hoff seemed to realize they could no longer deny the hospital visit. What to do? Now they’re putting out this lame story: David had been drinking but really not all that much. The Hoff didn’t feel good so he thought he should go to the hospital. Someone drove him there. He’s fine, though he regrets drinking.

So, let’s recap for those of you keeping score. Independent sources broke the story with RadarOnline.com that the Hoff was so drunk he had to be taken to the hospital with alcohol poisoning.

Sources confirm this has happened many, many times. Truly, a sad, sad situation. Reps, and other people paid to protect Hoff’s image put out a story Sunday that he’s celebrating his dad’s birthday! They make no mention of a hospital visit.

On Monday, in the face of overwhelming evidence they finally admit a trip to the hospital and drinking. But, now the story changes to he didn’t feel well and he regrets drinking.

Puh-leeze! Do they really think anyone is buying that?

The only thing more sad than alcoholism perhaps are the people who enable it – that includes paid employees and gullible news outlets.
