It sure wasn't "nothing but a good time" at the Tony Awards for Bret Michaels last night -- because after performing in the opening number, dude ran smack into a falling set piece and landed flat on his ass.
A spokesperson for the Tonys tells the AP Michaels just "missed his mark" but wouldn't comment on any injuries except to say his nose wasn't broken.

2. FTW? Why are they even performing on at the Tony's? He obviously has never performed in Broadway production. Haha.. he got overzealous with the applause and quickly realized he wasn't performing at some outdoor county fair.

3. Bret wouldn't get off stage, just kept standing there waving and waving... watched it a few times, and in slowmo it is comical!!!! Any injuries are his own doing, everyone else knew to be off stage...

11. The comments on here are pretty cruel. I think overall Bret seems like a pretty good guy and most likely is a bit embarrassed by what happened. I laughed too...it is very funny. But I also think that Bret is the type of guy that can view the video and, in the aftermath of it all, laugh right along with us! Give him a break. Let's just call it what it was a silly accident and let's move on....
