A Vespa-riding George Clooney was stopped by the police in Lake Como, Italy today -- but the only shot of his mug the cops took was for their own personal collection.
We're not sure why he attracted the fuzz's attention -- except maybe for his overall Clooneyness -- but they seemed more interested in getting autographs and selfies with the actor than bringing him down to the station.

BTW, Clooney bought a place there. I've been to Lake Como and it is an absolutely beautiful place. No wonder he likes to go visit his digs there.
