Yet another star who has botched their looks with plastic surgery. Darryl Hannah was a beautiful woman. Too bad she didn't leave her looks alone. Now she is so disfigured she looks abnormal

Looks like another, run-of-the-mill Hollywood plastic surgery addict. They are all starting to look alike.

I say we move all republicans to West Virginia and let them remove all the mountain-tops they want to. Then when it slides into Virginia and no longer exists, they can say its a job well done.

GO DARYL!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, WISH MORE PEOPLE CARED LIKE YOU DO. AND TO ALL OF YOU MAKING NASTY COMMENTS ABOUT HER FACE-GROW UP! Wow. She used to have such a unique, raw beauty. She is almost unrecognizeable now.

Can she get the cheek implants removed? They don't look good. Women please don't do the cheek implant thing. It rarely looks good, especially if you are only in your 40's. It ages you instead of making you look younger.

There is a laser procedure called Fraxell, that was developed for targeting Skin Cancer. The side effect is that it tightens your skin. During the recovery portion, your skin puffs out and swells beyond recognition. It looks like she just underwent the procedure. Yeesh.
She'd frighten the children and horses with that puffy mug!

Why Why Why? do these actresses think that those cheek implants and puffed up lips are attractive? It hideously distorts their faces and I can only imagine what it would look like if they took them out. And has anyone discovered the long term effects of botox? What is the matter with these people and can't they just let nature take its course and let the grey hair in and wrinkles out? Geez... .... get a clue and just be yourself.

The mountaintop removal mining is pretty bad. They tear these mountains down which not only looks horrible and is a detriment to the environment, but it also affects watersheds and causes flooding and other damage. They're also irresponsible with the way they store the slurry, or mine waste, from these sites. They dam up valleys and then fill it with the sludge and just let it sit there. The coal companies often do this above schools, residences, or entire towns where any kind of failure would be catastrophic.

What sucks is that these companies could deep mine the coal without any of the negative side effects associated with mountain top removal. It would also benefit the communities and economy since it would require more man power. It would effect the bottom line of the coal companies though, so they fight tooth and nail to be able to continue the practice of mountain top removal.

She's a hypocrite. She's supposed to be sooooo natural and a vegan and all. But look at that face -- PLASTIC SURGERY to the 10th power. I'd like her to explain how that is NATURAL. Jackson Browne should sing a song about her plastic face! She makes me ill.

She looks like Cameron Diaz....Diaz was on Live with Regis and Kelly today and she looked like the photo you showed of Daryl Hannah.

She was arrested in WV, and as a native resident, we don't need her here telling us what to do and how to live. She doesn't belong in this state's business and she's endangering jobs for people that she doesn't know or care about. I don't work in the mining industry, so I have no actual stake in that area. But as a West Virginia native, I have to stand up for my state and the people who live, work and pay taxes here. She's a has-been celebrity, who apparently needs a hobby.
Why doesn't she take the money she's spent on all that awful plastic surgery and donate it to a women's shelter or an organization for kids? THAT would be a worthwhile effort.

I think it's interesting that they publish an article about her getting arrested for trying to do something positive for the environment and the discussion becomes all about her face. I think some people are missing the point here.

Scarlett, you're the epitome of "ignorance is bliss". Mountain top mining is !extremely! distructive. The big companies run off w/ all the profits and the locals (usually in poorer, rural areas) are left with ruined water and land. It's devistating.
