Right before going to bed last night, Perez Hilton and John Mayer shared a heated exchange on, well, Twitter of course.

"From the heart," Mayer writes to Perez, "what you experienced these last 24 hrs is a profound lack of control. You can't blog the world, my friend."

The argument consisted of over a dozen saucy back-and-forth posts. Perez tirelessly defends his honor while Mayer suggests better ways Perez could have handled the situation with Will.I.Am, going as far as to cite rules of the Israeli martial art, Krav Maga.

Here's a taste:

Mayer: Perez Hilton's video statement is so long that by the end of it his cut healed.

Perez: That's real funny! Ha ha! And I'm sure you also think I "deserved" to get hit!

Mayer: I also want to train you in an old martial art called "Never Call A Black Dude a F**got Jitsu."

Perez: Dude, I get it. I GET IT. But it's not f**king funny to me. Karma would be me losing my site and going bankrupt or what have u.

And as if the whole world coming down on the sassy blogger weren't enough, Mayer tops off his beef by calling Perez a "dumb sh*t."

Wow. Who knew John Mayer had it in him?

32. Mario got what he deserved. I laughed my butt off watching this fat, pig nosed crying and saying "violence is not the answer". What a load Mario. You spew vicious things about under aged girls on your "blog" and draw disguisting pictures on peoples faces. What did you think was going to happen? I know Mario, you thought you'd be the queen of hollywierd, going to parties and hanging with gorgeous people. Instead, you just get uglier and fatter. 34. I saw the tweets - which were more than what was referenced here. Mayer had valid points all along the way but Perez didn't want to hear it. If somebody isn't feeling bad for him, Perez doesn't want to know about it. It's not right that Perez was hit yet he conducted himself in a way, that night, that contributed to the situation and made a bad situation worse. Just because he was the one hit doesn't absolve him from taking responsibility for his part in creating the drama.

Clearly, sometimes violence is indeed the answer then isn't it. This would also have been one of those times.

Hopefully the dojo for 'I also want to train you in an old martial art called "Never Call A Black Dude a F**got Jitsu.' is next to a donut shop so Perez can refuel after his intense training sessions though

43. I can't believe Perez doesn't think he had this coming to him. I don't think he deserved to get hit, but the man has been bashing celebrities for the past few years. Something like this was bound to happen. Not everyone has the ability to laugh at themselves and I guess "Will.I.am." took Perez too seriously. Maybe Perez will lighten up on slamming celebrities before another celebrity slams his face again.
