Emergency Dispatchers are trained to speak clamly, deliberately and in an almost monotone voice. The dispatcher was professional and did an ecxellent job on this call. Would you prefer calling 911 and have the person who answers hysterical with panic over your situation? No. The calmness of Mrs Gans does seem incongruent with the situation she is in....really NO emotion, but maybe she is in shock?
