Former "American Idol" star Taylor Hicks laid out in Mexico yesterday, working on his soulful tan.
Hicks has not had a song make the charts since 2006.

22. Actually Hicks' career has been a total flop. Its been at least 3 years since a song of his has EVEN made the charts. Hes also not sold out a concert in the same time period. I'd say his life and his career=EPIC FAIL.

24. Having a hit record does not equal success or talent for that matter. The number of people on the charts (notice I did not say artists or singers) who need to use gimmicks or voice enhancement is astounding and sickening. Seriously, stop being sheep and think for yourself. And epic fail? Can you afford to take a trip to Mexico when you feel like it? I certainly would love to be in his shoes.

28. #23 Voice of Reality.....sucess is not always measured by the charts. And he sold out plenty of his concerts on his tour following Idol. And he continues to sell out the small venues he performs at while he's in Grease, touring across the country. Pretty sure he's more sucessful than you are!

I just saw Hicks recently and the ain't no jowls on that boy. He is drop dead good looking.
And anybody who knows anything about him knows that the first single off his album did make the charts and is still being played. Having a few problems with country but who cares, he is the best damn performer around. His shadow shows are doing great and hes the best teen angel ever. Glad he got some sun and fun in Mexico. He has a show today in CA, will be doing his own shows in Biloxi, Atlanta and Birmingham soon. On top of Grease of course. I have tickets and will be on my way. Can't wait.
