Michael Jackson's ex-wife Debbie Rowe won't be attending Jackson's memorial service at the Staples Center tomorrow.
Her attorney sends us this statement:
"The onslaught of media attention has made it clear her attendance would be an unnecessary distraction to an event that should focus exclusively on Michael's legacy. Debbie will continue to celebrate Michael's memory privately."

I don't blame DEBBIE ROWE at all for not attending the memorial. She couldn't even go to a restaurant (X17) last night without being swarmed by paps. She can watch it on t.v. like the rest of us.

The reason Debbie won't be there is because the Jacksons are planing to burry Michael in peace at Forrest Lawn on tuesday. while everyone else is a at the Staples Center.

Please don't write anything derogatory. The very fact that she realizes
her presence would be distracting and that she will not attend is proof
of honoring Mr. Jackson. Focus instead on what you LEARNED from him,
not your opinions that are fueld by hate and ignorance. He would never

I wouldn't want to be in her shoes now...the media is all over her.
But at the same time, she wishes to take custody of the children, but she can't pay her respects to her late husband? I don't care how bad the media frenzy is...you go to the memorial. Its the right thing to do. The respectful thing to do. If millions of people can do it, so can you Ms. Rowe.
Something about that just strikes me as odd. She wants to celebrate his memory privately....you honestly can't take a couple moments from your day to show your face? It's a shame. Just my thoughts....
