Victoria (#31) - While I appreciate a good quotation mark as much as anyone, I do hope you're actually quoting someone else and just forgot to give credit. If you don't wanna see the MJ show, then don't open your computer or turn on your TV. Read the sacred book of your choice instead - I'd like to suggest the Biblical passages about removing the log from your eye, rock-throwing and judgment of others. "Alleged" is not the same as "convicted". You, for example, might be described by some readers as an alleged bigoted, homophobic right-wing nutjob, but I'd never paint you with that brush, because I don't know you.
Perhaps you'd enjoy researching Jackson's appreciation for our fighting soldiers and his contributions to same. We've been in a war for eight years. I like to think that most of us honor and respect America's armed forces and their contributions, just as Michael Jackson did. But I hardly see how a week or two of mourning for a great artist is in any way denigrating our soldiers.

Acting mayor, JAN PERRY auth'd the money for the memorial, taking funds from the emergency fund, funds that are used for fires, earthquakes, she has a history of unwisely sponsoring events in LA, she helped sponsor a very POORLY run Film festival called Jules Verne Film festival, which by the way was also run by frenchmen who then RAN back to France to escape the vendors they owed,one of the french men was known for improper actions towards young men and boys who attended. She needs to be removed from office for authing city funds for a Private event

75. Wake up people, michael jackson is not dead. He is alive. This is a capitalist coverup. All the people who owned michael jackson, realized he could not perform and therefore couldn't make their money. He was worth more dead to these people than alive. This is a huge hoax.
