Rowdy Roddy Piper Charged with DUI

Roddy Piper DUI TMZ has learned the L.A. City Attorney has decided to file criminal charges against "Rowdy" Roddy Piper for his DUI bust earlier this month.

Roddy was charged with one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence and one count of driving without a valid license stemming from a late night arrest in Hollywood on July 2nd.

If the 55-year-old wrestling legend is convicted, he faces a maximum of 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine.

Roddy's case will go back in front of the judge on Thursday.

no matter who you are DUI is a serious matter.the crime is the same and the punishment must be the same for EVERYONE !!

Okay, there is of course NO comment of any substance that can be made about this post, so I want to offer up this stand-in comment:

That chick at the 0:27 mark in Tuesday night's show is a frickin' doll. She is so fine. Put her in the place of Back Right (awesome blond who apparently has skee-daddled/been kicked-out - whatever - but who still appears however in the capture in the "Tune In Tonight!" square).

God forbid that more of these babes should do stories, but at least emphasize more eye candy.

Piper was at the peak of his career when he made gems like HELL COMES TO FROG TOWN and THEY LIVE.

It would be funny if he appeared in court with a pair of black sunglasses yelling,"JUDGE !! You have to put on these glasses and see what I saw !! Then you would understand! The Aliens! They are here, THEY LIVE here among us!!! "

Next to "They Live," one of Roddy Piper's most entertaining B-movies is "Jungleground" (1995). If you're a fan of his, check it out. A friend of mine met Piper at a book signing 5 or 6 years ago and chatted with him a while. Said Roddy's one of the nicest guys imaginable.
