She's very beautiful in an imperfect, believable way. And if you've seen her in Doubt, for example, you know just how puffy, jowly and old she can look without makeup, lit harshly, and uncoiffed.

Good genes, good makeup and some gentle photoshopping, I think. She actually has wrinkles and is not afraid to show them.

I love Meryl. Huge talent and a wicked sense of humor. One of the few who manage to have an amazing career and is has is not affected by her fame. Not like today,s "stars" who want fame more than to be good at what they do. And she married a non celebrity...Note to (I'm so lonely) Jennifer Aniston.

This woman cracks me up when I see her on interviews! Granted work was done but come on who, with the cash, here when they hit 60 and work where image is everything not go in for a tune up.
