Romania is NOT a nazi country and romanians are not ignorant. But gypsies are not the way the used to be, with caravans and horses and tents. Gypsis these days are breaking the law, and because of them, us romanians have a bad reputation. Gypsis stopped being only in Romania long time ago so please stop associating them with us. Romanians are romanians and gypsis are gypsis. I think people who can't understand that are the ignorant ones. And dear Madonna, never ever comment on something you have no idea about. madonna should try saying this things in italy, spain, ireland. they'd throw her off the stage. they dont't just discriminate gypsies over there, they simply hate them. they'd do anything to get rid of them. romainians don't discriminate gypsies just for being gypsies. they discriminate them for their criminal records and for the bad reputation they're giving romania. you have no idea how hard it is to be a romanian tourist in those countries. and even worse, a romanian living there. after a romanian gypsie murdered an italian woman people started attacking romanians all over italy just because they were from romania and were heard speaking romanian. now tell me, how would you feel about that? is it fair..because of romanian gypsies all hard working romanians living there should suffer and be discriminated? you know, gypsies are not those nice people with big hats who move from town to town in caravans and sing happy songs near the fire that you see in movies. our relity is much worse and we have to live with it daily

People booed Madonna because she was talking about a situation she doesn't know at all. She was not fair with her Romanian audience and she was not fair with Gypsy community using it for publicity. She knows very well that every crowd reaction is instantly spread and interpreted worldwide by media. Anyway, I feel discriminated when internet media makes general remarks accusing community I belong (Romanian one) of racism without taking in consideration how many booed and how many didn't and so on. Does she protect me? I suppose not. Madonna, don't you want to be The Protector of hurt majority? It is a noble cause, too.
