Michael Jackson's estate lawyers want the judge to lay down the law once and for all ... John Branca and John McClain have broad powers to make decisions for all things MJ.
The attorneys filed legal papers today asking the court to put in writing what the judge said earlier this month -- outlining what Branca and McClain have authority to do as Special Administrators.
The judge gave the duo broader powers than they had initially -- but lawyers for Katherine Jackson have kicked up some dust.
There's a legal showdown on Thursday at 2:30 PM PT. We'll be there.

Michael was very clear with what he wanted..... Katherine stands to loose big if she keeps pushing!
Katherine is not a businesswoman. She is a mother and a grandmother who has not worked a day in her life. While I think she should be advised on all matters she should not have any deciding authority; she does not have the knowledge and experience to handle the estate.

uh no much respect to katherine but michael obviously didnt want her to have full rein over the money hello joe would find a way 2 take it from katherine shes too weak i totally trust michaels decision on this one ove you mj
Until the judge's decision is put into writing to satisfy Londell McBillion, Branca and McClain cannot begin to process all of the claims, and we know there are many of them, which have been filed against the estate.
McBillion is using Katherine for his own personal gain. Very unfortunate. The executors must be given the authority to do what executors are supposed to do..manage and grow the estate.
If Michael wanted his mother in charge he would of stated so in his will, but he did not. Keep pushing mom and see where you end up.

I too agree she should be advised. I still think in some way though she should be in on MAJOR decisions. Particularly anything to do with the Sony Catalog. IF the administrators decide to sell the catalog for some reason when it is up for review next Sept., I don't believe it should solely be their decision. Michael would NEVER want that to be sold. Not saying it would happen, but what if....
Good. It only makes sense that since Judge Beckloff has already ruled, that he put it in clear terms that McBillions can have read to him, since he is incapabale of understanding what has been said already.
GO TEAM BRANCA!!!
