Will the Real Vanessa Williams Please Stand Up

The 46-year-old resurfaced at some event in Hollywood on Thursday, looking calm.

Vanessa Williams

Vanessa is often confused with "Ugly Betty" star Vanessa L. Williams.

The "Melrose Place" actress went on to appear in the TV series "Soul Food," which was based on the movie of the same name and starred the other Vanessa Williams.

1. She looks awesome! She looks better now than she did before! She's one of those lucky people who gets better looking as they age.

6. I'd tap that! The hair she had on Melrose was awful and took away from her looks and nice bod.

7. I couldn't stand her character on Melrose....she was either trying to hard to be hip and cool, or she was just a bad actress. BUT, she definitely looks good, 46 or not. Take note all you 40 something Hollywood people.....this is how you do it.....this is how you age gracefully.

11. Vanessa looks great, but did not like her character on Melrose or in the movie New Jack City - the writers made her overly dramatic (In your face and angry). Second, I never understood why she never changed her name to create her own identity (First name, middle name) - being confused with someone else with the same name in the same profession would get hugely irritating.

12. She looks great! My hubby met her on a plane last year and said she was the nicest person you could meet.
