TMZ has learned Brittany Murphy had a will when she died -- a will she executed before she met husband Simon Monjack.
Sources say the will left her estate to her mother, Sharon Murphy.
The house Brittany owned and died in was held in trust -- a trust created several years before she met Monjack. He is not listed on the title.
We do not know if Murphy amended her will after she was married. So far we have no evidence Murphy drafted a codicil (amendment) to the will.

Harvey these astute questions R 4 U
(1) What are CA laws re: prop distribution when a person dies intestate? Does B's estate automatically go first go to mom & dad, then to hubby - or NOTHING GOES TO HIM - INCLUDING RESIDUALS? How does CA court system become involved in probate review & estate distribution in the death of a minor (probably will-less?) ingénue, in comparison to the sudden death of mega star like MJ's 2) Did BM & SM have a prenup?
(2) Did BM have a will?
(3) Did BM have life insurance? Date purchased. Were the premiums paid up?
4) Are enhanced payments or riders common or uncommon for for a premature death by "natural causes"?
(5) Was the LA house owned â and in her name - or rented? Is CA a community prop state?
(6) Speaking of blessings, did Sharon 'approve' of the marriage.
I too, find it odd the press is reporting, "Mom found her."
(7)Did BM's mom live with the couple or did the airport not notice (he appeared âdazed') or not wake up?
Did SM DELAY CALLING 9-1-1? (GET THAT 9-1-1) and instead first call MOM Sharon AS A MEANS TO DISTANCE HIMSELF AND NEUTRALIZE SUSPICION??

Harvey would love for you guys to investigate the possibility of BM having an eating disorder and the possibility it played a part in her untimely death. Here was a girl who actually had talent and beauty, and still had possibly major self image problems. Also, from reports of friends, it does seem she had an eating disorder, so was her husband enabling this type of behavior?

I know that death for younger people never seems natural to anyone but it is not impossible. People die everyday of all ages due to heart problems, aneurisms, blood clots, etc. Things we never expect. Things no one ever sees coming. How horrible that we live in a society where the death of a young person can not be simply an unforeseen, unpreventable, tragedy. Babies, children, teens, adults...die all the time and many times there is no one to blame. No one is a fault...that's what natural causes means. Is it naturl to us wo try everything in our power to cheat death? No. But it's natural. Life and death are natural to the lifecycle... we just seem to forget that nature is not perfect, we were born defective and we never know when those defects will claim us.
It is also horrible to say that her husband is fat, ugly, etc. why should that matter. If she marries hot typical hollywood she's shallow, but if she married outside of that he must have drugged her to keep her. Maybe they were people with mutual understanding and true love. Maybe she thought he was as beautiful as well. It's nice to see you must all be super models, date super models and no one ever questions why you're dating someone not so "attractive" or questioning those who date you and wonder why they are with you when they can definitely do much better than you!!
I hope it all turns out to be natural and purely health issues. But, did it ever occur to you that maybe the idea of an autopsy cutting through the body of his beautiful wife was too much for him? Do you guys know what an autopsy looks like, the scars, etc. Do you know what it's like for a family to see that as they go in to dress their family members?!! Think with your hearts people, not always with the defensive accusations or paranoia we create in this society!!

Also, people who are extremely thin doesn't automatically equal eating disorder. I struggled for many years to gain weight. People accused me of having an eating disorder. It was mean, hurtful and ignorant! I've known other people who do have eating disorders and don't show it. Don't make ignorant assumptions that it has to be eating disorders or drugs...there's always more than one thing that can lead to something.
