Bob Barker just went on the attack in the Antarctic.
Less than an hour ago The Bob Barker -- a private ship operated by the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society -- chased a fleet of Japanese whaling boats off the Adelie Coast.
It was the maiden voyage of the rehabbed ship -- retrofitted thanks to a $5 mil donation from Mr. Price Is Right himself.
We're told the B.B. thwarted the whalers' grand plan and they left sans any Shamus.
The Bob Barker is still on the tail of the whaling fleet.

THIS IS THE BEST AND MOST AMAZING STORY YOU HAVE EVER REPORTED! I THINK MORE COULD HAVE BEEN DONE AS OF YESTERDAY TO SAVE POOR DEFENSELESS ANIMALS. BOB BARKER IS A MAN AFTER MY OWN HEART. THANK YOU FOR A BEAUTIFUL PICTURE AND STORY OF THIS!
And Bob's your uncle!
Hey, is this the old Steve Irwin ship that the Whale Wars guys used?
As an arctic explorer myself, I can tell you it's greatly appreciated to have this attack vessel out there preventing the damned Japanese from killing whales relentlessly under the phony excuse of "research". What we need to research is how fast a freezing Japanese sailor sinks in Antarctic water. It's quite cold, but not as cold as my ruthless, vengeful heart!
Way to go, misleading us into thinking this was about Bob's underwear.
go get 'em Bob - you rock!
a true animal rights activist! he leads by example.
Great to know! Is this another ship in their fleet? Or did they change the Steve Irwin after the ship was damaged last year? Either way, glad to know about the donation and the ship.
Awesome show and way to put your money to great use! To bad other celebs don't get 'on board too!'
If Japanese whalers want to protect their industry in Japan, then fine. But it's an industry that the rest of the world abhors and rejects, so they have no business sailing through international waters to pursue it.
If we want to go into Japan, however, and try to force whalers to change their industry, then we have to be able to provide an alternative to support these people financially.
Hopefully that's something we can do.
I have a bit of money left in my bank account and thinking refurbing a little tank to thwart slaughtering cows, goats, sheep, horses, rabbits and even dogs/cats...the list goes on and on....
Hmm...
