Basketball fans in Memphis went streaming for the exits in droves during the third quarter during a game between the Grizzlies and the Los Angeles Clippers -- after signs informed fans there was an emergency -- but it was all a false alarm.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the drama was all over a busted water main. Someone in the stadium thought they smelled smoke and officials made the decision to evacuate the stadium.
Fans, coaches, players, TV crew, announcers -- everybody -- streamed for the exits, and the broadcast of the game dipped to black. Now, we're told local authorities have determined there is no danger and are expected to continue the game.
UPDATE: The game has resumed progress.

(Page 1 of 1)i'm glad to hear that they actually evacuated.
what if this was a real fire and people died, then everyone would blame the stadium for not evacuating.
thing like this make you feel safer knowing that the stadium didnt want to take a chance with people's lives for the sake of a basketball
game, and look they continued the game and all is good!
