I worked for Crowe Horwath; one of the top 10 CPA and Accounting firms in the country. It is a good firm and reputable. My guess is if they make this claim, it is legitimate

Records of any business dealings, that is,contracts, should be on file;if money is owed, the estate will pay.

So what? A company did work and asked to get paid. They probably were working for him after his death, too.

It's astonishing how much these creditors were charging for their services: the accountants, the chef, everybody else. What exactly were they doing to deserve that kind of apparently excessive compensation? No wonder Jackson didn't have any money.

See this is why Elvis had his dad pay his bills. He could trust his dad, and Vernon watched the dollars from the vultures. People charge outrageous fees for their services just because it was for someone rich and sucessful. This world is filled with alot of greedy people who take advantage whenever they can. It's a sad state of afairs. If I was the estate lawyers I would get someone in there to say if any of the fees against the estate are fair market prices for these services, and if they are not they wouldn't get any more than a fair price for their services.
