Jason Momoa -- Lisa Bonet's man and the new Conan the Barbarian -- wants to take the character in an anti-Ahnuld direction: No accent ... and plenty of chest hair!
This Conan is no smooth operator.

Conan was my first R rated movie, I was 15, we snuck in I paid for a movie, but I didn't see the movie we paid for, the orgy scene was quite a blast back then and a shock, they can't shock us anymore. Never live up to the original. I loved the music it really told the story.
Finally! Been waiting for the return of chest hair, love it and so do my friends. Sick of the whole waxing look--there's nothing like curling up on a pillow of soft chest hair.
yawn ....men's chest hair is not chic anymore since the feminization of usa
girls like girly men with long hair and no body hair
pfffffft bend over
Awesome, Jason Momoa! He was my favorite character on SGA. He did it so well too. This would be perfect for him!
Stupid hollywood suits can't come up with an original idea if their pathetic lives depended on it. Everything has to be a "franchise" or a remake of a previous film. Well, this one is going to lose money bigtime (and hopefully will cost the hollywood suit-morons their jobs for greenlighting it); it's WAY too early to be remaking this film (which was released in 1980); it's considered a classic.
This is and always will be only 1 Conan The Barbarian... and AH-NULD is his name.
Original Conan books werent based on a muscle bound man but a generic man put into extraordinary situations. His casting isnt that bad. In fact, Kevin Sorbo's R.E.Howard version of ... damn was it Kull? Was a more muscular man in the books than Conan. This is just people locking on to a stereotype of a character instead of the actual character.
SHOCKING!!!! He doesn't quite measure up to the Governator. Hopefully no hairy back.
This twit sounds like a drug-addled teenager.
Re-makes suck... this one will suck severely.
