Lance Armstrong in Stitches after Bike Crash

Lance Armstrong ate some serious pavement today during the AMGEN Tour of California -- suffering a nasty cut under his left eye that required eight stitches.


Luckily for Armstrong, he didn't suffer any major injuries -- but he still had to bow out of the competition due to the cut and a banged up elbow.

Hopefully they brought him to the doctor so he could get another HGH shot which is good for recovery. Expect him to be back on the bike by tomorrow winning more dirty races.

All of the above is nothing but sour grapes and a crock of CRAP. This is one of the finest athletes the USA has EVER SEEN. I'm sorry he was injured. He's made us all incredibly PROUD so many times.
