Lindsay Lohan was ordered to 90 days of rehab -- but, according to her mother, she won't be doing the full time.
Dina Lohan was just on "Today," where she said Lindsay will have a shorter stay at UCLA and will be out "soon" -- adding that Linds made friends with a lot of "alleged murderers" during her incarceration before rehab.
As TMZ previously reported, the inpatient program at UCLA typically lasts only 45 days, but doctors often repeat the program or stylize another program for the patient that could easily last 90 days.
Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, told TMZ doctors have not yet determined how long of a stay is appropriate.
Although the judge could let Lindsay out early, sources tell us it's very unlikely.

Watching the second part of the interview with Dina on Today. She is so argumentative and manipulative. She has this pathological need to be right and argue. I also think she's on something herself. Maybe Michael is the sane Lohan.

All these reality wantabe's are getting on everyone's nerves! They only strive because places like the TODAY SHOW, the VIEW, and ET give them the vienue to show how nasty and stupid they truly are.
This interview is a very good example why Dina is a huge part of Lindsay's problem. She needs to stop making excuses for Lindsay, stop lying for her and encourage her daughter to get the help she needs.
Lindsay is not leaving California. She might go to New York to get new docs to write the prescriptions. Maybe she could hook up with Heath Ledger's docs.

Loved how she DENIED Lindsay was in rehab 4 times in the first interview and then still tried to deny it in the 2nd interview, even though Matt had the dates & locates of each time.
