Lindsay Lohan Will Bail Out of Jail

UPDATE 10:10PM PDT: TMZ has learned that Lindsay's favorite bondsman has posted her bail. She can now leave the Lynwood jail as soon as she can get a ride.

UPDATE 6:02PM PDT: Lindsay will have to get a SCRAM bracelet (this will be her third) within 24 hours -- and under the terms of her bail, she is not allowed to be around known drug users ... and must submit to search by law enforcement at any time.  Also, nightclubs will be a major no-no ... Linds has to stay out of places where alcohol is the "chief item of sale."

Lindsay Lohan
will be a free woman soon, because a judge has just reversed Judge Elden Fox's decision and has granted LiLo bail ... TMZ has learned.

Judge Fox ruled earlier today ... Lindsay could be held without bail.  But apparently the Judge's ruling flies in the face of California law, which gives defendants the right to bail in misdemeanor cases.

Judge Patricia Schnegg, Assistant Supervising Judge for the L.A. County Criminal Courts, just threw Judge Fox's bail decision out the window.  Judge Schnegg has set bail at $300,000.

Lindsay, who is in Lynwood Jail right now, should get out soon ... probably in a few hours.

They should remove the judge from her case. Obviously has a biased agenda against her.

HOW is this helpful? She learns NOTHING from being bailed out except that she is COMPLETELY ENTITLED to do whatever she darned well pleases. I hope the judge sentences her to a WHOLE LOT of rehab or real jail time in a really crappy place next month and prohibits ALL travel in the meantime.

#3 sPaNkDeNALgAs, only if you can guarantee she wouldn't wipe out anyone else in the process of killing herself.

I am COMPLETELY disappointed with the legal system. The stupid bitch needs to be in jail. That is the only way she will get clean. This new judge may as well line up the cocaine for this TWIT themselves. She is not even that good of an actress let alone a human being. She is garbage.

I personally don't think this should be allowed. They are not doing Ms. Lohan any favors by letting her out. She alone is making a mockery of the system.

Wow. This is unbelievable. This is why there's so much contempt for the judicial process. Some guy does $25 worth of crack and he's locked up for years. This rich, white girl does whatever amount of coke she desires and bounces in and out of court like it's a game.

How embarrassing for Judge Fox.............and to be over-ruled by a FEMALE! That rubs more salt into the wound.

I'm not fan of Lindsay's behavior. But this Judge Fox should be thrown off the bench. He is there to apply the law to the cases before him, NOT to break it when he's pissed.

Ah, to hell with it. If it's Cali law that you can post bail on a misdemeanor, than it is what it is. Hurts to say it, but that little dumbass has the right to go free, for now. Hopefully the sentencing carries through later and she'll be back in the pokey and do the time.

what a joke.

I don't care if she OD's but, they are just putting everyone else in harms way. If she kills someone while high....I guess, then they'll lock her up. It's going to take some innocent bystander to lose their life before the system "gets it".

She admitted she has a problem and so, let's just let her go. I have no faith in the system anymore.

Every time they don't like a judges ruling, they get a new judge. What's it going to take? I hate to say it but, I hope she doesn't take an innocent bystander with her. I'm starting to believe she did hit that baby stroller. Next time, it may end in a death. They'll still probably get her out then too.
