Couldn't the cheap a$$ buy Kate her own engagement ring?!

I think Diana's ring would be perfect for the right hand and Kate should have her own ring, from Williams heart, not the one from his father, not so heartfelt proposal. My daughter's engagement ring has one large pink sapphire set into it that was from his mothers ring,now the design was agreed upon and she picked out the other stones so her ring is still very much her own and she got a substantial ring for a good price.But of coarse Wills doesn't have to worry about money.

Just shows she's willing to tow the royal line....

Surly he could have given her her own engagement ring & for a wedding present give her his mothers ring....
