Another legend gone, but never to be forgotten. He will be missed. A great actor and person. I met him in person. Hollywood is going to be stuck with horrible actors soon. People who are only famous for being pretty or handsome not for talent. The golden days of Hollywood are almost gone. :(

I find a much more direct "Bacon" link. Nielsen worked on Naked Gun and Dracula: Men ion Tights with sound engineer Brian McCarty, who is listed as music coordinator for all of these films.

My family was really sorry to hear about Mr. Nielsen's passing. We got a big charge out of his comedy work and have five or six silly movies at home.
What I found really strange was watching some of his "serious" acting roles, especially when he played villains.
He was made to make us laugh, and did it very well. Rest in peace, Shirley.
